Death Records Index

The simplest way to get started, is to search through the death records index. Provide as much information as possible in the search criteria (at least the firstname and surname). You can narrow down your search by trying to match the year the person died with the year listed in the index. Allow a few years either side, as some records may not match to the exact year.

Once you have found a record that matches, click on the link to download the digital image of the death notice. Not all images are immediately available. If the image is not available, then it can be requested. You will be notified by email once the image has been placed on the site for download.

"The reasons that drove them to leave all they knew behind, while they embraced a new continent and way of life must be many and varied. An Unreasonable Woman is my idea of one such story."
